Bronze IPPY Award for Mrs E
'Mrs Echidna's Dilemma' received a Bronze Award at the 2011 Independent Publishers Awards celebrated in New York on Monday 23rd May 2011.
The IPPY awards ['Independent Publishers'] recognise excellence in publishing outside of the the 'big name' publishing houses. 'Mrs Echidna's Dilemma' won the Bronze Medallion for fiction in the Australia-New Zealand Region. It is exciting that a children's picture book won the bronze, when the silver and gold were awarded for 'full-blown' novels!
The awards were announced just in time to be included in the printing of the next edition of Mrs E, which is currently being revised prior to the next printing, to be released in August 2011.
