author's visits to early childhood centres
Betty is available to visit early childhood centres [schools, kindergartens and child care centres] and Libraries, to read her book, and to talk to the children about how it was made.
If you are interested in having Betty come to your early childhood centre, to read the book and talk to the children about how it was made, just contact her through this website.
Betty will not only read the story. She will also encourage interaction with the children with some action songs and rhymes, using the finger puppets, and a take-home activity. Some centres prefer to use this craft activity as a 'follow-up' to the visit, for consolidation of learning.
