What a wonderful, friendly shop Margaret has in Cooroy! If you don't live on the Sunshine Coast, you may not know this beautiful little country town, nestled in the hinterland behind Noosa. If you are heading up to Noosa, you exit the highway at Cooroy .... take the time to have coffee in this charming little town, and check out the Cooroy Drapery and Patchwork shop!
Margaret's shop is a 'must do' for anyone into textile crafts - patchwork, embroidery and all the other textile crafts as well. Every visitor to the shop is welcomed like a long-lost friend, and made to feel at home! It was in this atmosphere that we had an afternoon tea, and I signed the books for anyone who came... and 66 books walked their way out of that place in 1 1/2 hours!

By the way, I'll be up in Cooroy again for a book reading at their brand new library on 1st July. AND a wonderful book store opposite the library, 'Possum Books and Coffee' (the name says it all!!) will be stocking my book after 1st July 2010. Talk to Diana there - she has some amazing children's books in her shop.
